Uke Ohana 2014 Molokai

Price: $1250.00

Date: May 23, 2014

This once in a lifetime Ukelele event will be led by Lono, one of Hawaii’s most beloved and talented folk artists. He will be joined by friends from Molokai’s vibrant community of singers, dancers, and musicians.

Spend 5 intimate days on the Spirit Isle learning how to play and compose traditional contemporary hawaiian folk music, dance hula and hear the stories behind the songs.

This event will be held at Pu’u O Hoku (“Hill of Stars”) a historical 14,000 acre working ranch on Molokai’s East End. We will feast on traiditional gourmet foods harvested by the local community and venture on foot into the nearby Halawa Valley with its ancient Taro fields, twin waterfalls and warm beaches.
