FRIDAY-March 16 :

12 PM – Noon    Gather together at the Molokai airport and begin your immersion into Old Style Hawaiian Music and Aloha Lifestyle with a visit to Kaunakakai and the scenic drive east to Pu’u O Hoku Ranch.

3:00:    Arrive at Pu’u O Hoku Ranch and settle in.

4:00:    Orientation with slide show of Molokai and 7 years of Uke Ohana   

5:00:    Aloha Friday Kani Ka Pila

6:00:    Dinner    

7:00:     Hana Hou + Introductions and aspirations of participants. 

9:00:     Sweet Dreams


SATURDAY-March 17 :


6:30 AM: Sunrise drive to Halawa Valley –  Swimming, Yoga and Music to start our day.

8:00:   Breakfast in the Lodge

9:00:   Ukulele Music Classes  – Lono’s will connect you and your Ukulele by playing traditional chants and songs of Molokai along with his original compositons. Craig and Sarah will share their inspirational techniques for Ukulele with traditional songs of Hawaii.

12:30   Lunch and  Free Time

1:30 PM  Experience Molokai’s cultural heritage at a historical site, located a short minute walk from the Lodge.

3:30:   Free Time 

4:00:   Afternoon Classes of Hula and Native Hawaiian Nature Printing along with Tutorial Sessions with the Teachers


5:30:   Gather together with Favorite Ukulele Music Exchange


6:00:   Dinner in the Lodge

 7:30:    Teacher Concert.  The musical harmonies and magic of Craig and Sarah with their Ukuleles.  Lono will present the history of Molokai through story, hula  and music along with his current CD compositions. They will be joined by Ukulele virtuoso Kalei Gamio.

9:00:  Sweet Dreams 


SUNDAY-March 18:


6:30 AM: Sunrise drive to Halawa Valley – Swimming, Yoga and Music to start our day.  

7:00:  Breakfast in the Lodge 

9:00:  Ukulele Music Classes

12:40: Lunch

1:30:   Classes with Kalei 

3:30:  Free Time


4:00:  Hula, Nature Printing and Sessions with Teachers


5:30:  Gather together with Favorite Music Exchange

6:00:   Dinner in the Lodge

7:30:   Kani Ka Pila

9:00:  Sweet Dreams


MONDAY-May 29:


6:30 AM: Sunrise Drive to Halawa Valley –  Swimming, Yoga and Music to start our day.

8:00:  Breakfast in the Lodge

9:00:  Ukulele Music Classes

12:00: Sack Lunch – Hike to Mo’oloa Waterfall at the head of Halawa Valley (With lunch) or Picnic at Halawa beach and visit Kuliana Flower Farm.

4:00:  Free Time   This is your afternoon to fall in love with your ukulele and the music you make together, as you compose a song to share.  Teachers will be available to encourage your creativity.  

5:30:   Gather with music 

6:00:  Dinner in the Lodge

7:30:   Last evening Kani Ka Pila with everyones original music and Mele Nei

9:00:   Sweet Dreams




6:15 AM: Sunrise drive to Halawa Valley –  Swimming, Yoga and Music to start our day.

7:30:    Breakfast in the Lodge

8:00     Farewell Gathering with Music

9:00:   Vans depart for airport and Coffee’s of Hawaii Kanikapila event.

12:00:   Workshop ends
